Moreover, the vanadium catalysts supported on hybrid TiO2 and γ-Al2O3 were prepared. The performances of the prepared catalysts were subsequently examined in a fixed-bed reactor. The main products were propylene, ethylene and COx.The vanadium catalyst over TiO2 and γ-Al2O3 had the best performance under the reactor test...

    Abstract
The efficiencies of perovskite solar cells have increased rapidly in recent years and reached about 22%. Which hopes to make this type of solar cell more functional. In the normal structure of perovskite solar cells, the presence of mesoporous TiO2 mesoporous layer has increased sustainability and efficiency. In this study, we tried to create a TiO2 mesoporous layer with the help of lighting. To create TiO2 mesoporous layer, What causes porosity in the layer is the removal of ethyl cellulose and create...

Synthesis of β-Amino Ketones Using Titania Based on Solid Acid as A Catalyst

, M.Sc. Thesis Sharif University of Technology Samet, Masoud (Author) ; Mahmoudi Hashemi, Mohammad (Supervisor)
    Abstract
Enanthioselective synthesis of biological molecules are so important in synthetic chemistry, and because of their biological activities, β-amino carbonyl compounds have earned so much attention in this area of chemistry. Mannich reaction is a classical method for synthesis of these molecules. The Mannich reaction is a three-component reaction between an enolizable CH-acidic carbonyl compound, an amine, and an aldehyde producing β-amino carbonyl compounds. But acidic or basic difficult circumstances, long reaction time, low yield and enantioselectivity, are the drawbacks of classical methods. In this project, we used titania-based solid acid as an enantioselective catalyst to overcome these...

Ultrafine- and fine-grained aluminum matrix nanocomposites were fabricated by friction stir processing (FSP) of 5052 Al alloy sheets containing different volume fractions of pre-inserted TiO2 nanoparticles (2, 3, 5 and 6 vol%). Annealed and wrought (H32) sheets were processed at different rotational (w=800-1400 rpm) and traverse speeds (v=50-200 mm/min). A special design tool (concave shoulder and cylindrical pin with regular threads) without changing the rotation and traveling directions was utilized. It is shown that a homogenous distribution of the reinforcement particles throughout the metal matrix is attained at w=1200 rpm and v =50 mm/min after 4 cumulative FSP passes. Transmission...

    Abstract
UF membranes are widely used in various industries now, a major type of these membranes are ceramic membranes which are resistant to high temperatures and corrosive fluids. In this thesis we developed an anisotropic UF ceramic membrane based on 20nm TiO2 nanoparticles on a prous sustrate. We had two major challenges, the first one was to find a suitable prous substrate and the second one was to find an appropriate coating method. Our main task was to optimise the process conditions to achive a crackless and uniform membrane layer with minimal ups and downs. Lots of coating methods and TiO2 inks have been tried, finally we used a coating method which we called it “Soft Blade Coating”, with...
