    Abstract
    The geometry structures of hexa-coordinated [NiLX]X complexes (X = Cl -, Br-, I-) {L = 8,9,18,19-tetrahydro-7H,17H- dibenzo[f,o] [1,5,9,13]dioxadiaza cyclohexadecine-8,18-diol} are optimized by density functional theory (DFT) using B3LYP/LANL2DZ. The calculated geometric parameters are in good agreement with the corresponding experimental values. Calculation results about these complexes show that dipole moment decreases, and the energy levels of HOMOs descend from iodo-complex to chloro-complex. The energy levels of HOMOs descend gently from iodo-complex to chloro-complex, while the energy levels of LUMOs in the present complexes are almost similar; therefore the energy gapes between HOMOs...

    Abstract
    Alumina nanofluids are one of the most useful nanofluids. In order to evaluate the colloidal behavior of nanoparticles in alumina/water nanofluid, the influence of effective factors such as pH, ionic strength and surfactants, was studied. Zeta potential, particle size and turbidity change of each nanofluid was investigated. According to the results for 0.05, 0.1 and 0.2 mass% nanofluid, point of zero charge was obtained at pH values of 9.5, 10.2 and 10.5, respectively. The highest nanofluid stability occurred at pH 4 and its lowest was at pH 10. The anionic surfactant had a greater effect on the stability in compared with cationic and nonionic surfactants.     The need for the control of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) has led engineers to modify wastewater aeration tank systems. In this research, air recirculation has been investigated as a possible VOC control strategy for these systems. A steady-state mathematical model of VOC emission rates has been developed from the fundamentals of VOC convection, volatilization and biodegradation. This model has been used to study the effect of aeration recirculation in enhancing the biodegradation of VOCs in the system, using dichloromethane as a typical VOC.     FAPbI3 perovskites are excellent candidates for fabrication of perovskite solar cells (PSCs) with high efficiency and stability. However, these perovskites exhibit phase instability problem at room temperature. In this work, to address this challenge we use methylammonium chloride (MACl) as an additive and employed a layer-by-layer thermal evaporation technique to fabricate high-quality perovskite films on a large scale of 25 cm2. The optimized perovskite films show high crystallinity with large grains in the μm-range and reveals phase stability due to the presence of MACl after the annealing process.     The effect of pulse reverse current (PRC) method on Ni-Mo coatings electroplated from chloride solution was investigated by various plating parameters such as plating duration, the anodic duty cycle, the anodic current density and the cathodic current density.     The formation of multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) during arc discharge in aqueous solutions of Fe2(SO4)3 and FeCl3 was studied. The concentration of iron ions changed from zero (deionized water) to 0.25 M and the cathodic products were examined by transmission electron microscopy, Raman spectrometry, and thermal gravimetric analysis. The experimental results showed that the crystallinity of MWCNTs is improved by increasing the concentration of iron ions.     Corrosion behaviour of Ni-Co alloy coatings at Kish Island (marine) atmosphere

    Abstract
    In this study, the corrosion behaviour of Ni-Co alloys with low Co content, electroplated on steel substrate in sulphate bath, was investigated. The morphology of coatings was studied by optical and SEM microscopy. The corrosion products were analyzed using EDX. The results showed that Ni-1%Co coatings had a better corrosion resistance 0.30, 0.92 and 3.75 mpy for atmospheric, salt spray and polarization tests, respectively. These are 0.41, 1.20 and 5.40 mpy for pure nickel coatings that indicate the least corrosion resistance.     An experimental and modeling study on the feasibility of the Scheibel extraction column is presented for heavy metal separation from chloride solution. In continuous experiments, the chemical reaction systems are considered zinc extraction by D2EHPA and stripping from the loaded organic phase by chloride solutions. The experimental results represent that the best extraction and stripping rates in the agitation speed of 155 rpm and the rate of inlet phases of 28 L/h are equal to 99.56% and 98.11%, respectively.
