    Abstract
    The supernatant obtained from the extracellular laccase produced by Phanerochaete chrysosporium was used as the enzyme source to conduct a partial purification, characterization and dye decolorization study. The partially purified enzyme was stable in the pH range of 3–5 and showed an optimum activity at pH 4.0, using guaiacol as a substrate. Laccase stability of pH was determined and discovered to retain 100% of its activity at a pH of 4.0 after 2 h. The maximum enzyme activity was obtained between 30 and 50 °C.     In this study, a novel, simple and sensitive ratiometric fluorescence method is presented for the detection of very low quantities of the carbaryl in Iranian apple using cadmium telluride quantum dots (CdTe QDs) nanoprobe. The principle of the proposed strategy relies on the rapid hydrolysis of the carbaryl under an alkaline condition and production of the 1-naphthol with a blue emission at 470 nm.     An immersed solvent microextraction (SME) method was successfully developed for the trace enrichment of s-triazine herbicides from aquatic media. A microdrop of butyl acetate was applied as the extraction solvent. After extraction, the microdrop was introduced directly into a gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) injection port. Some important extraction parameters such as type of solvent, extraction time, stirring rate, and temperature were investigated and optimized.     Abstract
    In this study, optimized preparation, quality control, cell assessments and biostribution of 188Re-HYNIC-PSMA in normal rats and tumor bearing mice are studied. Optimized conditions for radiolabeling were evaluated and radiochemical purity (> 99%) was investigated using ITLC and HPLC methods. 188Re-HYNIC-PSMA was stable both in PBS (4 °C) and in human serum (37 °C) even after 48 h. The results showed the complex was cleared from the blood very fast via urinary track.     We previously reported that MR01, an indigenous strain of Pseudomonas aeruginosa, was able to produce a rhamnolipid-type biosurfactant. Here, we attempted to define the structural properties of this natural product. The analysis of the extracted biosurfactant by thin-layer chromatography (TLC) revealed the presence of two compounds corresponding to those of authentic mono- and di-rhamnolipid. The identity of two structurally distinguished rhamnolipids was confirmed by 1H and 13C nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy.     The effects of different parameters including membrane type (regenerated cellulose and polysulphone), transmembrane pressure (TMP), the content of oil in the feed, the flow velocity of the feed and pH on the ultrafiltration of an emulsion of kerosene in water were studied. It was found that the important factors affecting ultrafiltration were, in order, membrane type, pressure and oil concentration. The greatest flux at the optimum conditions here of 3 bar, an oil content of 3% (v/v) and with membrane type C30F was predicted as 108 L/(m2 h) that was within the range of the confidence limit of the measured value of 106 L/(m2 h).     Titanium(IV) tetraisopropoxide was employed as a metal oxide sol-gel precursor to prepare ceramic composite nanofibers by the electrospinning system. To facilitate this process and obtain the desired nanofibers with higher aspect ratios and surface area, poly(vinylpyrrolidone) was added to the sol of titania.     TixSi1-xO2 compound thin-film systems were deposited by reactive RF magnetron co-sputtering technique. The effect of Ti concentration on the hydrophilicity of TixSi1-xO2 compound thin films was studied and it was shown that the films with Ti0.6Si0.4O2 composition possess the best hydrophilic property among all the grown samples.     In this article, we examine Independent Component Analysis (ICA) and the concept of Mutual information (MI) as a quantitative measure of independence from the point of view of analytical chemistry. We compare results obtained by different ICA methods with results obtained by Multivariate Curve Resolution Alternating Least Squares (MCR-ALS). These results have shown that, when non-negativity constraints are applied, values of MI increase considerably and the resolved components cannot anymore be considered to be independent (i.e. they can only be considered to be the " least dependent" components).
