  8. Today, different cities in the world have hurried to consumers, natural resources, and producers of waste. Our cities are not excluded from this rule, especially metropolitan like Tehran, which accounted for only 12% of the country's land area, accounting for 15% of the volume of airborne contamination in the country. Considering the importance of the environmental pollution issue and the many researches done in this field, the present study attempts to investigate and analyze the application of renewable energy to reduce environmental pollution with an emphasis on the automotive industry. This is an applied research in terms of purpose. These types of researches are applicable because these are driven by the practical application of knowledge and results in problem solving, in terms of data collection method, descriptive and analytical description category, and in particular, the correlation and type of ranking. In terms of the type of data, there are few studies of how data is extracted from figures and figures are extracted through the information gathering tool and there is little data analysis method. According to the analysis carried out in this study, we obtained the following results: considering the average of all three variables, R & D, financial, maintenance and repair (5/382, 5/392, 5/97/57), and the use of renewable energy. The automobile industry is also economical and the infrastructure required to use this energy in the automotive industry is capable of maintenance, and finally the R & D unit is also able to plan and develop the necessary infrastructure
