  8. As the crowded cities require public transportation and because of lack of space on the ground, Subway and boring underground tunnels encountered. In this thesis the interaction of boring the line 7 of Tehran metro with the existing station of line 1 of Tehran metro (Molavi station) is studied. By changing the soil specification, The surface settlement is significant so the soil specification is one of the important parameters of the interaction. For comparinf the effect of these parameters, the soil settlement and bending moments is investigated in different parts of station while the lower tunnel is passing beneath it. The 3D Abaqus software is used for modeling this interaction. In designation of new tunnel, the safety of adjacent transportation system is very important. As the modeling of boring steps and complicated geometry of two constructions the 3D numerical method is used. By investigating the analysis results the critical step is when the lower tunnel is exactly beneath the station.When the boring of lower tunnel starts, the displacement of the bottom of the station is increased and the bending moment is decreased. The sensivity of the effective parameters on the interaction of tunnel and underground space like effect of sort of soil, the distance of two constructions, the face pressure and thickness of lower tunnel is investigated. The main point of these studies is the complex of the interaction of the two adjacent constructions. In this study by increasing the distance of the tunnel and station the surface settlement increases and by increasing the face pressure surface settlement decreases. By increasing the segment thickness the surface settlement didn’t change but by decreasing the thickness settlement increased
