  7. Abstract:
  8. With the increase of renewable energy generation in power systems, the flexibility of power systems has been challenged and the high potential of resources in active distribution systems for providing flexibility has been noticed by system operators and planners to help system flexibility. In this regard, these resources can participate in the Flexible Ramp Product market which is a new product that is defined for this purpose. In this work, the management of these resources has been modeled in an active distribution system for participating in this market by considering the network constraints, the uncertainty of renewable generation and forecasted prices of products in DA and RT markets, and other important uncertain parameters. In the first section, a model for management of resources has been proposed in the DA multiproduct market including energy, regulation reserve, and flexible ramp product in which DSO manages resources participation in the market and by an iterative algorithm using sensitivity factors the loss of deployed energy have been considered, next a model is proposed in RT market considering flexible ramp in which a two-stage optimization problem has been formulated by DSO. Finally, these models have been tested in the modified IEEE 37 bus test system and the results show the profit of participating in the ramp market
