The purpose of this research is to investigate the impact of human capital on the performance of startups in Iran so that its findings can be used to guide the startups and companies, policymakers, and entrepreneurs. According to a study by Aguin andcolleagues. (2009), the establishment of new firms through entrepreneurial activities can increase national economic growth, creativity and productivity at the national level. Joseph, in 1995, stated in an article what has been pointed out by some researchers in the field of entrepreneurship in developing countries, Programs and strategies that succeed in a country will not necessarily succeed in another country, due to cultural and governmental differences. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct a research in accordance with the Iranian business environment on the startups in order to determine the factors affecting the performance of these businesses in particular in the specific economic and business environment in Iran. Among the factors that make up human capital, can mention the level of education, revious work experience in the labor market, the history of starting a business, the background of work in the field and the industry, and the use of business-specific training. In this research, age, gender and beliefs are considered as moderating variables of the relationship between human capital factors and startup performance. Based on the results of this study, having previous work experience in the labor market, previous entrepreneurial experience, industry-related work experience in the field of start-up activities, and having business training, has a positive impact on the performance of the CEO in steering and steering the Startup; But the level of education and having a managerial work experience was not detected on the performance of the CEO. It has also been observed that the automatic income belief has a positive effect on the relationship between human capital factors and startup performance. Based on the results of this research, it is suggested that people who intend to set up a startup should have previous work history and business training. It is also proposed that entrepreneurship culture development institutions and organizations promote the development of business education classes in order to increase the level of performance of entrepreneurs
