    Abstract
The study intends to examine the role of financial literacy in sustainable performance of SME’s in Saudi Arabia, with the moderating effect of entrepreneurial resilience. The data for this study were gathered from 203 different SME’s sector entrepreneurs in Saudi Arabia using a convenience sampling technique. The hypothesis was tested through Smart-PLS software 3.3.9 version and structural equation modeling technique was used to verify the hypothesis relationships. The findings show that financial literacy has a significant and positive impact on sustainable performance. Moreover, results indicate that entrepreneurial resilience has a significant and positive effect on sustainable...

Post-2012 CDM multi-criteria analysis of industries in six Asian countries: Iranian case study

    , Article Climate Policy ; Volume 13, Issue 2 , 2013 , Pages 210-239 ; 14693062 (ISSN) Mohammadi, A ; Abbaspour, M ; Soltanieh, M ; Atabi, F ; Rahmatian, M ; Sharif University of Technology
    2013
    Abstract
The prospects of the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) and for carbon income, up to and beyond 2012, in the industrial sectors of Iran and five other Asian countries are investigated. The attractiveness and suitability of each host country, the status of their industrial sectors (based on four post-2012 scenarios), and the post-2012 potential of the CDM (or similar carbon projects) in these sectors are all examined. A multi-criteria analysis of Iran, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, China, and India, based on seven sets of criteria (institutional, regulatory, economic, political, social, CDM experience, and energy production/consumption), is conducted, and the post-2012 potential carbon incomes...

The prediction of permeability using an artificial neural network system

    , Article Petroleum Science and Technology ; Volume 30, Issue 20 , 2012 , Pages 2108-2113 ; 10916466 (ISSN) Pazuki, G. R ; Nikookar, M ; Dehnavi, M ; Al Anazi, B ; Sharif University of Technology
    2012
    Abstract
The authors studied the efficiency and accuracy of neural network model for prediction of permeability as a key parameter in reservoir characterization. So, some multilayer perceptron (MLP) neural network models with different learning algorithms of Levenberg-Margnardt, back propagation, improved back propagation (IBP), and quick propagation with three layers and different node numbers (3, 4, 5, 6, 7) in the middle layer have been presented. These models have been obtained by 630 permeability data from one of offshore reservoirs located in Saudi Arabia. The accuracy of models was studied by comparing the obtained results of each model with experimental data. So, the neural network with IBP...

    Abstract
Retinoblastoma is the most frequent primary intraocular tumour in childhood. Early detection of retinoblastoma is the key to successful management with a higher chance of survival. This study aims to assess the knowledge of the general population and healthcare providers about retinoblastoma in term of presentation, risk factors, timing for diagnosis, and complications. A cross-sectional study using an online survey was conducted in three Arab countries (Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and Iraq) between 28 August and 16 September 2020. The questionnaire tool was constructed based on an extensive literature review to explore the study's aim and objectives. Logistic regression was used to identify...
