    Abstract
Electrical behavior of hybrid conductive composites made of phenolic resin, graphite woven, glass woven and graphite nano powder has been studied for the first time in the present research to apply as collecting plates in electro static precipitators. To this purpose, two types of four-layer composites smeared with phenolic resin by different amounts of graphite nano powder then produced at 120°C and 200 bars with proper curing cycle. Finally, electrical resistivity of all the plates undergoing impact loading after different rapping cycles was measured by means of a repetitive rapping tester system particularly manufactured for this task. This study performs changes in mechanical behavior of...

    Abstract
Motivated by the puzzling optical conductivity measurements in graphene, we speculate on the possible role of strong electronic correlations on the two-dimensional Dirac fermions. In this work we employ the slave-particle method to study the excitations of the Hubbard model on honeycomb lattice, away from half-filling. Since the ratio U/t ≈ 3.3 in graphene is not infinite, double occupancy is not entirely prohibited and hence a finite density of doublonscan be generated. We therefore extend the Ioff-Larkin composition rule to include a finite density of doublons. We then investigate the role played by each of these auxiliary particles in the optical absorption of strongly correlated Dirac...

    Abstract
Lightweight geopolymer concretes have gained attention because of their superior durability, lower environmental impact and sustainable characteristics. They are the product of natural or artificial aggregates with low specific gravities mixed with aluminosilicate binders, and an alkaline solution. In this study, different aspects of lightweight geopolymer concretes and mortars such as environmental and economic considerations, materials and mixture, durability-related properties like permeability, chloride attacks and performance at high temperatures, thermal conductivity, and the microstructure are reviewed. This study also discusses the effect of different geopolymer binders and various...
