    In airplanes, engine mounting structures have two primary performances: 1- They sustain all loads which engines produces or those which are exerted on engines in different maneuvering conditions. 2- They make the thrust load and the centric line of its containing cabin concentric [1]. In this paper, analysis of a mounting engine structure with the purpose of the accurate adjustment of the engine in its cabin is presented. Some sample diagrams, which introduced ideal adjustment angles for a specific aircraft, is proposed.     In this work, a new model based on multilayer kinetic adsorption mechanism has been proposed to account asphaltene adsorption in porous media under dynamic condition and the model was verified using experimental data obtained in this work and also with those reported in the literature.     Recently, it has been proved in Babadi [B. Babadi, N. Kalouptsidis, and V. Tarokh, "Asymptotic achievability of the Cramér-Rao bound for noisy compressive sampling", IEEE Trans. Signal Process., vol. 57, no. 3, pp. 1233-1236, 2009] that in noisy compressed sensing, a joint typical estimator can asymptotically achieve the Cramér-Rao lower bound of the problem.     The effect of Pd addition to Fe as catalysts on growth of carbon nanotubes by TCVD method

    Abstract
    The effects of Pd addition to Fe (Pd/Fe = 0, 2.5/7.5, 5/5, 7.5/2.5 and 1) and growth temperatures (920 and 970 °C) on density, diameter and growth mode of carbon nanotubes (CNTs) have been studied. SEM observations and TG analyses confirmed that the CNT yields depend on Pd/Fe ratios as (7.5/2.5) > (5/5) > Pd > (2.5/7.5) > Fe at both growth temperatures. TEM data showed that addition of Pd results in tip growth mode. From Raman spectroscopy data, the order of samples' structural quality (I G /I D ratio) are Fe > Pd/Fe (2.5/7.5) > (5/5) > (7.5/2.5) > Pd and the I G /I D ratios increase by decreasing the growth temperature.     The morphological manipulation, structural characterization, and optical properties of different cadmium selenide (CdSe) nanostructures are reported. Two different CdSe nanostructures, i.e., nanorods and nanoparticles, were grown by controlling the concentration of precursors (i.e., cadmium nitrate and selenium dioxide) in ethanolamine solvent.     Abstract
    In this research, partitioning of β-amylase and amyloglucosidase was investigated in polymer-salt aqueous two-phase systems containing poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) with different molecular weights such as 4000, 6000 and 10,000 and Na2SO4 or KH2PO4. The experimental partition coefficients were measured at T = (298.5, 301.5, 303.5, 305.5 and 308) K. The results showed that the concentration of salt in feed had more effect on partition coefficients of β-amylase and amyloglucosidase in aqueous two-phase systems than the concentration of polymer in initial feed.     Pure titania porous layers consisted of anatase and rutile phases, chemically and structurally suitable for catalytic applications, were grown via micro-arc oxidation (MAO). The effect of applied voltage, process time, and electrolyte concentration on surface structure, chemical composition, and especially photocatalytic activity of the layers was investigated. SEM and AFM studies revealed that pore size and surface roughness of the layers increased with the applied voltage, and the electrolyte concentration.     Linear-dendritic copolymers containing hyperbranched poly(citric acid) and linear poly(ethylene glycol) blocks (PCA-PEG-PCA) were used as reducing and capping agents to synthesize and support gold nanoparticles (AuNPs). PCA-PEG-PCA copolymers with 1758, 1889 and 3446 molecular weights, called A1, A2 and A3 through this work, respectively, were synthesized using 2, 5, and 10 citric acid/PEG molar ratios.     Mixing has become a challenge in micro-fluidic systems because of the low Reynolds number in micro-channels. The method which is implemented in this paper is to use freely-swimming bacteria to enhance the mixing process. Accordingly, the Serratia marcescens bacteria were used for this matter. The mixing performance of the system is quantified by measuring the diffusion rate of Rhodamine B in a particular section of a channel connected to a chamber with varying Rhodamine B concentration.     In this paper, the effect of several different parameters on the thermal resistance of a Closed Loop Pulsating Heat Pipe (CLPHP) has been investigated. These parameters include the working fluid, the inclination angle, the filling ratio and the heat influx. Also, the impact of using nanofluids with different nano-particle concentrations has been analyzed. It was observed that a CLPHP can increase the heat transfer up to 11.5 times compared to an empty pipe. Optimum performance for a system with the water-silver nanofluid was achieved at conditions of 50% filling ratio and 0.9 K/W of thermal resistance, and for the water-titanium oxide system, these optimal conditions were found to be 40%...

    Zinc oxide thin films were deposited on soda-lime glass substrates from an aqueous zinc- containing complex by two-stage chemical deposition (TSCD) method. Longmuir adsorption model showed that the adsorption of atoms on the surface of the substrate was typically physical. The relation between the fractional coverage, θ, with the equilibrium constant of the adsorption reaction was nonlinear indicating that the adsorption was non-ideal.     Silver nanoparticles (NPs) stored in pore-arrays (pa) SU-8 photoresist layer were utilized as an antibacterial nanocomposition against E. coli bacteria. The pa-SU-8 matrix was fabricated by an optical interference lithography method resulting in small pores with a diameter of ∼50 nm and a depth of ∼100 nm. The Ag NPs were deposited on the soft polymeric matrix at different drying temperatures of 50 and 90 °C.     CuO nanoparticles with average diameter of about 20. nm were accumulated on surface of sol-gel silica thin films heat treated at 300 °C in air. Heat treatment of the CuO nanoparticles at 600 °C in a reducing environment resulted in effective reduction of the nanoparticles and penetration of them into the film. While the thin films heat treated at 300 °C exhibited a strong antibacterial activity against Escherichia coli bacteria, the reducing process decreased their antibacterial activity.
