One of the most prominent issues in road safety is to observe reaction time and sight distance in geometric design. Various sight distances are available is Iran's specifications on "Geometric Design of Roadways" taken from the AASHTO standard from which stopping sight distance, decision sight distance and their corresponding car driver reaction times are noteworthy.
