    Abstract
    Cardiovascular diseases have been known as one of the main reasons of mortality all around the world. Nevertheless, this disease is preventable if it can be diagnosed in an early stage. Therefore, it is crucial to develop Clinical Decision Support Systems (CDSSs) that are able to help physicians diagnose the disease and its related risks. This study focuses on cardiovascular disease diagnosis in an Iranian community by developing a CDSS, based on Support Vector Machine (SVM) combined with Binary Particle Swarm Optimisation (BPSO).     Abstract
    In this paper, we introduce a new family of lattices, namely QC-MDPC lattices which are a special case of LDPC lattices, and an improved bit flipping algorithm for decoding of these lattices. Encoding and decoding implementations of QC-MDPC lattices are practical in high dimensions. Indeed, to take advantage of practical decoding we use "Construction-A" lattices which makes a tight connection between the structure of lattices and codes. Using these features we design a lattice-based public key encryption scheme enjoying linear encryption and decryption complexities.     In the present paper, a novel superabsorbent hydrogel composite based on gelatin have been prepared via graft copolymerization of acrylic acid (AA) in the presence of kaolin powder using methylenebisacrylamide (MBA) as a crosslinking agent and ammonium persulfate (APS) as an initiator. Certain variables of the graft copolymerization (i.e., the monomer, the initiator, and the crosslinker concentration as well as kaolin/gelatin weight ratio) affected on the ultimate water-swelling capacity were optimized.     As the first part of a continued research on conversion of carboxymethyl cellulose-sodium salt (CMC) to useful biopolymer-based materials, large numbers of cyanide functional groups were introduced onto CMC by grafting with polyacrylonitrile (PAN).     The objective of this research is to study the ability of a meshless method, called finite point method, in solving incompressible fluid flow problems using two stabilization schemes. The main goal of meshless methods is to reduce or remove the cost of grid generation. This issue is implemented using the satisfaction of governing differential equations on a regular or irregular set of nodes by interpolation functions, based on special least-squares approximations.     The gas separation properties of ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) membranes containing 18 and 28 wt% of vinyl acetate (VA) were investigated in this study. The effects of membrane preparation conditions, such as thermal and thermal/wet phase inversion, and the type of solvent on the gas separation properties of EVA membranes were investigated. The permeation of pure O2, N2, CH4, and CO2 gases at different feed pressures ranging from 2 to 11 bar were examined. The results indicated that the CO2 permeability was evidently higher than those of the other gases.
